I'm getting ready for the con today. My car is half packed, and I suspect I will fill every space! I took pictures of the Art Show stuff, as requested by draycevixen a while ago. :D I had a horrible time getting decent shots of lots of things. :( I'll try posting some when I'm at the con.

This morning I'll be scrambling to make last-minute decisions about what else to bring.

Yay MWC! I'll soon be on my way.

My response to The Scarlet Pimpernel, disc 1

That was a lovely bit of eye candy! ;) Favorite scenes in The Scarlet Pimpernel, disc 1? Any scene with Martin Shaw! He was gorgeous and he excels at evil. Favorite line?
I want his name! Hee!

I loved the bedroom scene with the evil actress. I
never object to a bit of MS flesh. :D

Other fun (non MS) things:
Jamie Bamber's bottom. Hehehe

Percy's 007 style jacket! I expected him to roll a smoke bomb across the floor.

The Great Global Pros Watch: No Stone

Oh no! It's the last one. :( At least it has a few moments that make me laugh out loud.

* We open with a lawyer and his client. Bring on the lads!
* Hmm. An arms dump. I don't like the look on the lawyer's face.
* He goes to a public phone to call another public phone. It's on!
* Cook is off to work an extra shift.
* Favorite scene: Ray gets a mouth full of pillow stifling an insult. Hee!
* Other Favorite scene: Bodie carrying almost all the equipment from the stakeout.
* CI5 lads are digging where the prisoner tells them. The evil, maniacal baddies shoot
them all down! That is one crazy woman!
* Even helicopters can't find the baddies on foot with a wounded man!
* 4.5 is napping as Bodie drives. He gets a radio call about the shootings.
* Cowley is angry at the agent who didn't get shot.
* Dogs and helicopters, and they still get away.
* Time to abandon the wounded man. Don't forget to give him a cigarette!
* Doyle is exceptionally lovely in this ep. Cook was only 26. Cowley has Ray tell June.
* The ep is definitely down hill at this point. I will try very hard to find more lovely
lad moments.
* Nice tulips in June's yard. I'm glad she puts the knife down. :o
* Ray is way to matter-of-fact about this.
* Good thing that pot wasn't boiling!
* Bodie looks quite bored. He is investigating while Ray takes the heat.
* Rich Daddy talks about offering a reward to get Jimmy the crim back from the baddies.
* Have we seen this pool house before?
* Another man has died. They are watching the lawyer. I hope they find a home for the dog.
* The mock trial is creepy. These people are barking mad!
* Visiting the lawyer. Nice chest hair, Ray!
* Ray shows off his knowledge of the books in Lawyer Tim's personal library.
* The agent who survived the shooting identifies the barking woman.
* Jimmy is found guilty. They decide to hang him.
* Now we have the lawyer listening to a tape made by the crazy woman. Now the lads listen.
* The tape has been sent to the news, etc.
* Barking woman cuddles a bunny! I cringe for the bunny!
* She admits murdering one when she was a child. She's turned on by killing. Eww!
* Ray is questioning the sister. He is still trying to find the baddies.
* Those caravans must be out in the middle of nowhere.
* The lawyer is using the public phone again, but he's being watched.
* The execution is over and they are torching the caravans and leaving the bunny!
* Third Favorite Scene: A cuppa and a gay rat joke. Hee! Queer as a 3 pound note.
* Explosion! Remind be not to parallel park!
* Favorite Scene the 4th: The lads will the bunny. Bodie says it looks like Ray.
* The Lads bring their evidence to the lawyer. Looking good, Ray! Did I say that
already? ;)
* He spills info about the baddies. They find them waiting for a flight.
* Aha! Another possible car bomb. Nice jacket, Ray!
* She's nicked!
* I love Ray's plan to alter her watch to trip her up. I've seen this before. What
other show has used this?
* Fifth Favorite scene: Ray drinks from Bodie's cup!
* She is so unhappy when they trick her!
* I hate the closing scene with the explosion. :(
* That's all folks. We end with Cowley's My God!

* Are these government types planning to do something to Cowley?

* Bodie's hair is a bit long, but I'm not sure I like it.

* The music and the strange body shop remind me of The Avengers.

* Ooh! The lads are studying the board. Cowley is very angry about Dawson's interference.
* The Minister decides that CI5 and MI6 will work together.

* I really could picture John Steed and Emma Peel chasing after the men with briefcases.

The Great Global Pros Watch: Discovered in a Graveyard

Angst. Hurt/comfort. Flashbacks. Ah!

* The lads are trailing a van with dark windows into a car park.
* How brazen they are to make demands when they don't know if a cannon is pointing at them. Gunfire, mayhem, and a fiery explosion follow.
* Inquest. All the gorgeous lads, including Murphy, are present.
* Cowley is unable to add information: Death by Misadventure.
* The Lads go their separate ways, even though Bodie wants to have a drink with Doyle.
* Cowley really tells Lin Foh what he thinks. No diplomacy here!
* What do you want Lin Foh? You've got Murphy!
* Doyle goes about his chores and doesn't realize he is being watched.
* The flat and the classical music are nice. Time to drop of the laundry and do some shopping. Very domestic, our Ray! :D
* Meanwhile, the crazy assassin girl with the wire hair has entered Ray's flat.
* How'd you get in here?! Bang! Bang!
* Gorgeous Ray is now on the floor covered in blood and milk.
* Wire lady is encouraged to shoot the fatal bullet but she opts for something less deadly.
* Ray hadn't set his locks when he went out, but she sets off the alarms when she opens the balcony door.
* Phone light flashes. Alarms go off in Bodie and Cowley's cars.
* Bodie's rescue is an all time favorite scene. He has no key? ;) He forgets his RT?
* Both Lads must have been distracted this day.
* Stupid old bag
* Bodie frantically works to save his partner while Doyle has his first red and green flashback. It is when the lads meet, and Bodie says he has read Doyle's files!
* Aw! Look at Doyle in the ambulance. He tries to smile to reassure his partner.
* Bodie stares intently. He looks so strange as he tries to get Ray to tell who shot him.
* The flashbacks are spooky, as if the players are communicating telepathically.
* Bodie shots as he tries to get Ray to talk to it.
* Cowley wants Bodie to search the flat. I love Bodie's short fuse.
* The Cow reads Desiderata from a framed version he finds on Doyle's wall.
* Bodie is in a bad way over Doyle's shooting.
* Now we see the surgery, and so do Bodie and Cowley. Shock him!
* Come on man. Try! Look at Bodie's intense expression while he watches the surgery. He is willing his partner to live!
* Doyle's eyes are gorgeous even when they're closed.
* Another flashback. We find out about Doyle's problems with the coppers.
* Damn it! Do something, man!
* Listen to GJ speak French. I'm impressed!
* Bodie is very pissed off.
* I like the scene with Cowley and Bodie trying to figure it all out. Connection Cowley keeps saying the word as they put the pieces together.
* Now we are treated to Doyle's meeting of May Li. That is the weirdest ring thingy.
* Favorite line: Just what did the two of you get up to? LOL
* Another favorite line: Give Doyle half a chance and he'd blame himself for the invention of gunpowder.
* The flashbacks ands the dialogue are really good.
* Yay! Doyle moves his finger and Bodie gets the message.
* Is it just me or does anyone else find it sexy to see that breathing tube in Doyle's mouth? lol
* The agent behind Lin Foh looks strangely like Doyle if you squint.
* Cowley takes tea with some government suit who seems to think it would have been better if Doyle had died!
* I'm glad Cowley is upset by this man's lack of concern.
* Who is telling May Li to kill Doyle?
* How incompetent can fake Doyle be as he opens the door for May Li!?!
* Chasing and shooting and chasing and more shooting.
* Run, Bodie, run!
* She calls for help. Bodie is soon there.
* Her friends don't care where she dies.
* They give her to Bodie who is surprisingly kind to her.
* Look at that big, gentle man. *sigh*
* Yay! Ray is awake and they do that scene from Starsky and Hutch outside the hospital.
* Aw! Bodie carries Doyle's laundry for him.
* I don't like Doyle's final line, but it is a great ep IMHO. :D

* Cowley is having a meet with someone about the crazy dude. He is very protective
of the crazy dude's wife.
* Ah! The lads are now in on it. :D
* Ooh! Boots and shoulder harnesses. *fans self*
* LOL at Cowley's huge glasses.

* Lads are looking good in the car discussing Lawson's military history.
* Food through a goose? Hee!
* Lawson really can walk!
* The Investigation goes to the ~~nut house~~ sanitarium.
* The doctor didn't know his history?
* Ummm. Boots and tight jeans.
* I like Lawson's uniform.
* Palace guards?
* Okay. The scene in the pub is embarrassing.
* The family thinks he's still in Germany.
* Back to the lads. :) LOL at call to Cowley.
* 4.5 really got it wrong this time!

* How uncomfortable to sleep with a watch on, though!
* Shake Bodie out of his reverie. Hee!

* The nutter kills the dog, too! What a creep!
* The kids are very cute. (They don't resemble Mom and Dad.)
* I love that The Lads are concerned about Jack's family.
* Cowley and Doyle in a scenic London shot. I just know the location folks visited this one.

Yay! The Lads are together in this one. ;)

* A drug sale goes bad and some students are shot. Not a good start to the day.
* Copper, Cowley and out Lads are at the scene of the crime.
* Ooh! Doyle has his read plaid scarf and a black jacket. The hair is not good.
* Bodie is delectable in brown leather and beige polo neck. ;)
* The foolish boy and girl have taken their wounded friend for a ride in their van.
* Aha! Cowley's in the lab and the drugs aren't really cocaine.
* Cute Lad Banter about the kids and traveling to Borneo with a butterfly net. :D
* Doyle calls Bodie a strong lad! Hee!
* The baddies are searching the hospitals to find wounded Phillip and his little
friends.
* Diana and Rudy take Phillip to a hospital and are chased by a baddie.
* Rudy is shot and so is the baddie. The kiddies hijack a car!
* Now The baddies know CI5 are also after the kids. Oow! The Lads are in the
car. ;)
* Cowley continues with computer research and finds the father of the drug-selling
kids. Something about left-wing affiliations.
* DDT = Department of Dirty Tricks. Hee!
* I love Bodie's loud speaker announcements. :)
* Once the foolish boy passes out Diana can respond to the offer of protection.
* Alice Krige was such a pretty girl.
* She calls Cowley and the lads listen in on their radio.
* Bodie has really packed on the pounds.
* Lucky girl gets searched by Doyle. ;)
* Now Doyle is hugging her and rubbing her arm!
* The baddie is ready to shoot them on the way out to the ambulance.
* The stupid girl accuses Cowley of murdering her brother.
* This girl is a real pain in the arse!
* The DDTs (?) try to get the girl, but Cowley arrests her to keep her from their
clutches.
* Cowley calls the lads to initiate an Operation Susie.
* The lads haven't played with their trains for a while! LOL
* I can't believe the way Cowley gives up the train location!
* Aw! Bodie bandaging the girl is cute.
* My disc keeps stopping. Grrrr!
* Is their a bed in that train car? 8}
* I love the way Doyle sits with his legs open during the gun battle. Hee!
* This has a very unsatisfactory ending, and I want to kick Cowley's arse, but at
least the lads were together!

The Great Global Pros Watch: Foxhole on the Roof

* So this senior criminal gets out of jail and decides to really show them all.
* OOh! Doyle's wearing his read plaid scarf, but the hair is too tame.
* He sighs when Bodie tells him that a lot of weaponry is out on the streets again.
* The old crim and his young partner are dragging the guns and ammo up some stairs
and are sussed out by a young couple who don't want to spring for a hotel room.
* Hmmm. Box of grenades.
* Doyle looks quite dorky as he listens to music. :)
* Hee! Bodie calls him Ace.
* Doyle want to storm the roof; Bodie and Cowley want more information.
* Nice interplay as they run up the steps:
DOYLE: You out of condition?
BODIE: Have sense. There's a guy up there and we don't want to be breathless,do we?
* Cut to a hospital room with a doctor and nurse.
* The Lads are ready to shoot at the door when fire starts from the roof. What
creeps they are to shoot at a hospital!
* With all the broken glass and all, it is a miracle that the patients weren't
killed.
* Cowley's speech to the patients doesn't work for me. Get them all doing
something? They are barely conscious!
* Yay for Bodie shouting warnings about the grenades.
* Bodie looks good except for the grey jacket.
* He's got them by the short and curlies. Hee! The imagery!
* Bodie and Murphy have radar going for them as they walk out of Cowley's briefing.
* Nice little conversation between Bodie and Murphy. Doyle should be very jealous!
* Now for the Benny Hill skit! Kiss kiss.
* Okay, were these two cellmates in prison? lol
* Back to Bodie and Murph: Watch where you put those hands!
* Back to the climb up the ~~phallic symbol~~ tower.
* I'm starting to be annoyed that Cowley is monopolizing Doyle.
* Has Cowley noticed two of his men have been missing for a while.
* Bodie smiles all the way up the tower. ;)
* Doyle breaks in to Paul Stacy's house. Big shouting match ensues.
* Ooh! Tower Bridge!!
* Why is Bodie so far down on the tower?
* Bodie has made it to the top of the tower with Murphy.
* They've got the money. Murphy is not a very good shot.
* Bodie is ever the renegade, but he drops his rifle.
* Doyle's bum still looks cute in those jeans. 8-D The jeans are at least a size
too large.
* Poor Murphy! Ouch!
* LOL at Cowley asking the crim where he will be going once he's in the car!
* Doyle is off by himself solving this one.
* Why does the guy keep changing his clothes? Get in drag and stay that way!
* Tower Bridge again. :)
* Bodie shoots the fake girl.
* The crim commits suicide rather than be caught.
* Bodie looks very well-padded in the final scene on the roof. Was Doyle's comment
about his condition a jab about weight gain? Hmmm...

While I enjoyed many bits and pieces of this one, I really missed having the lads together.

The Great Global Pros Watch: It's Only a Beautiful Picture

Several good scenes with the lads in this one...:D

* Burglar and photographer snapping the ill-gotten booty for the customers.
* The lads are on a date at an art gallery talking about Cowley. Hee!
* Ooh! Really ugly baddie is cracking necks! That's gross.
* Now the baddies are taking pics of smelting process plans.
* I love the little chats between Bodie and Doyle. They are still in the dark about
what is wanted of them. Cowley will explain. I remain bored by the plot.
* Okay. The baddies and stealing art and technology and killing people while on
their greedy way. *yawn*
* The head baddie is of the landed gentry variety. He complains about the lack of
ethics in those beneath him.
* The lads have to look for a photographer and Bodie naturally wants to check out the
skin flicks. LOL
* The lads are in Trafalgar Square and there are photographers everywhere. They talk
to one then go to a Peep Show. They are not up to their best work at the point of
the ep. ;)
* Aha! They have a lead to Snapper, soon to be deceased, thanks to Armitage.
* Baddies playing tennis badly. Is Sangster limping across the court?
* Cowley chats with a minister about checking German diplomatic pouches.
* They are up against a fellow professional in Sangster. Hmmm
* Cowley goes up and down stair a lot in this one. Great exercise!
* I love Bodie's smile when they are told that all of Doyle's contact will be through
him!
* Doyle really makes a great impression on the hay seeds! lol
* Bodie is not fond of angry doggies.
* What's the shilling a day comment about? Is it in reference to the
military?
* Cowley waits for a helicopter. He has been chatting up ministers through the
entire ep!
* Lovely shot of the Thames. :)
* The baddies talk about church. Jeez!
* Cowley signs for his bait. The baddies are already salivating.
* Ray takes on the baddies with his bike. Sangster tattles!
* Ah! The lads meet for a drink again. They are enjoying each other's company. ;)

* Ah! The lads are having a romantic picnic in the car boot.
* Did the baddies kill the delivery guys? That was Cowley's fault!

* The lads take on all the baddies and the coppers come to mop up the mess.

I'm watching the ep Saturday night because I will be with over a dozen fannish friends tomorrow for a Christmas party. Today has been spent cooking for the party and wrapping gifts. Busy, busy, busy. :)

Ah, Kickback. Bodie and his old lover meet up unexpectedly. Hee ;)

* Boat on the water...full moon... very romantic.
* Doyle should not wear red stripes while doing covert night work.
* Check out Bodie's face when he recognizes Keller. Hmm
* Another Stephen Lister ep.
* Put out that cigarette, Keller!
* Now, in the daylight, I can see that Bodie is also striped in red. Jeez!
* Doyle tells Cowley to ask Bodie about the 3rd man.
* Here comes Bodie with a handful of explosives.
* Cowley's confrontation leads to info about Jimmy Keller from Bodie's days in the SAS.
* Bodie's old boss wants to know if he's towing the line. :)
* Doyle wants to meet Keller and pumps Bodie for details. Hee!
* I don't really like Doyle's hair in this ep. The cut is wrong. :(
* Keller is such a gracious host! LOL
* Hmmm. Ray does look good in close-up, though. ;)
* Bodie joins the PLA.

* Assassination Day: Doyle has a few buttons undone for us. Thank you!
* Bodie is wearing an ugly jacket again. He must be very cold today.

* Bodie shoots out the tire. Fake hit!
* Bodie switches jackets in the car with Keller. His hair is a fright as he pulls off a
jumper!
* Evil Keller boinks our lad and dumps him with the trash.
* Poor Bodie! Aww!
* Head baddie gets his picture taken by Doyle as he leaves his office with a briefcase.
* Car chase! I wasn't paying attention. Who's being chased? Doyle lost him.
* A different briefcase dude is killed by Keller. He sets up an explosion, but takes most
of the money with him.
* Bodie is in a helicopter now, looking much better than the last time we saw him.
* Baddie on baddie hitting action. (The girl is being roughed up.)
* Bodie spies the farmhouse from the helicopter.
* Helicopter-car chase! Oops! I'll bet he wasn't wearing his seat belt. Bang! Bang!
* Bodie shoots the guy then goes after the girl. Bodie looks great in this scene.
* He throws her in the water! Hee!
* Baddies after Keller now. It's a warehouse shoot out.
* Even though Keller is gut shot, Bodie says he's all right because the bullet came out his
back!
* Oh oh. Baddie is aiming at Bodie. Keller saves him again. That's another one you me,
Bodie.
* I'm beginning to resent the abrupt endings to these episodes!
* Bodie has a sad, faraway look in his eyes. The End.

The party was fun! :) I'm home and ready for more Pros. :D
